I was born and raised in St. Charles, MO. My passions as a kid were history, mathematics, and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.  As a child, I wanted to be the president of the USA when I grew up. As I advanced in my schooling, I discovered that I was much more suited for math and science than politics. In high school, I set my sights on engineering as the field that I would pursue in college. I moved to Bowling Green, KY where I attended Western Kentucky University. While in school, I met my lovely wife, Emalie. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from WKU in the spring of 2018.

My internship during my senior year of college was with a large manufacturing plant for car parts. While I enjoyed my time with the company, I discovered that the manufacturing industry was not for me. I enjoyed my thermodynamics and fluids classes at WKU, so I decided to pursue a career in MPE design. During the interview process with Kurzynske & Associates, Mr. Kurzynske asked me to consider joining the company as an electrical engineer. I agreed, and started with the firm in June 2018. My co-workers at the firm have helped me tremendously as I transition from mechanical to electrical engineering.  While I still have plenty to learn, I am confident in my decision to join the firm as an electrical engineer and I haven’t looked back. The culture of the company has been wonderful and my work has been challenging and fulfilling. My experience has consisted of electrical design in restaurants, schools, retail, and university work. In 2023, I was able to achieve my goal of becoming a Professional Engineer.  I have enjoyed growing in my career at Kurzynske & Associates, and I am grateful to be a part of the team.

God has blessed my wife and I richly with two beautiful children, and we love watching them learn and grow every day. In our free time, we enjoy playing board games, playing disc golf, and exploring Nashville. We also attend a local church and are involved in its work. We are excited to grow our family and establish our roots in Nashville.
